Basic Fire Police (BFPO)

Class Description

This course provides instruction on the proper method to be appointed, the laws pertaining to fire police, fire police powers and the expected duties of a new fire police officer.

Prerequisites: ELIS or equivalent discipline-specific training in occupational safety

Class Limit: 30 students

Student Needs: Pen/pencil, notebook, Basic Fire Police manual and PPE to include head protection, vest, whistle, badge, proper footwear, flashlight & gloves
